Title IX Grievance Process Team

In addition to their formal roles at St. Norbert College, the below individuals have been trained to serve in supporting roles within the Title IX grievance process. 

Title IX Deputy Coordinators

Title IX Deputy Coordinators have the responsibility to support the work of the Title IX coordinator, in their absence, and to serve the specific population assigned to their role. In their role, deputy coordinators may 1) receive sexual misconduct complaints; 2) answer questions about sexual misconduct policies and procedures; 3) serve as investigators (when appropriate); 4) provide training, programming, and engagement specific to their populations; and 5) support other related compliance efforts for the college.

Investigators

The investigators are responsible for handling inquiries into allegations of sexual misconduct, including interviewing the complainant, respondent, and witnesses.These individuals have been trained to serve in the role of investigator for cases of sexual harassment and other gender misconduct incidents, in addition to their formal role within the college.

Process Advisors

The college’s process advisors are made up of volunteer faculty or staff at SNC who have been trained to be a resource to the complainant or respondent throughout the complaint resolution process, or individuals external to the institution, such as a lawyer or advocate, selected by a complainant or respondent to serve as their resource. Students are required to have a process advisor present during the hearing, or will have one appointed by the college.

These individuals are coordinated through the Offices of Student Judicial Affairs and/or Title IX and Compliance, and may be individuals internal or external to the SNC community.
