Success Program
The Success Program is a mandatory non-credit-bearing program that is required for selected students as a condition of their probationary status. The program uses contracts, goal setting, time management and self-accountability to provide students with structure and discipline.
Students attend weekly group meetings with a facilitator and interact weekly with their peers on an informal basis, to facilitate better learning strategies and time usage. The workshop also provides a means for the staff to monitor students’ progress. Second-semester freshmen who are on academic probation may be required to enroll in IDIS 110: Academic Survival Skills, a two-credit-hour course.
