Gain real-world experience with a customized internship in Washington, D.C. Whether it's traditional journalism, public relations or marketing, the program equips you with the skills, knowledge and contacts to move from hoping for a career to building one.
Washington Semester at American University
Spend a semester at American University in Washington, D.C. Enroll in coursework and complete an internship in foreign policy, international organizations, public health, sustainable development, and U.S. politics.

Choosing to teach and live in a country that is rich with differences and history in the field of learning naturally enhances the education and total development of the student-teacher.
