Alli Reed is from Pulaski, Wis. and earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in international studies, Spanish and political science. During her undergraduate career, Alli studied abroad in Havana, Cuba and Valladolid, Spain. Additionally, she served as a study abroad mentor and presented her research paper, “The Culture of Machismo: Gender Stereotypes of Cuba and the Dominican Republic.”
Alli completed her master’s degree in international higher education at Loyola University-Chicago. Through her master’s degree program, Alli interned in the Center for Global Engagement at St. Norbert College, and studied abroad in Vietnam and Rome. While studying for her master’s degree, Alli has worked as a Spanish and ESL teacher in local K-12 schools.
