Student Reviews Earn SNC Top Rating
St. Norbert ranks among the nation’s 15 highest-rated colleges, according to higher-education news outlet College Gazette.
College Gazette looked at reviews, most often posted by students, alumni and parents, of liberal arts colleges that were made via Facebook. St. Norbert’s 231 reviews and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 placed the college at No. 12 in the United States on College Gazette’s list.
Elisha Jaeke ’20 says the individual attention given to students – from all members of the campus community – is likely one of the reasons students, alumni and parents rate the college so highly.
“The small, daily interactions and affirmations from members of the grounds crew, dining staff and various campus offices make lasting impressions, as do the professors and mentors who consistently go beyond what is asked to set students up for success,” she says.
“St. Norbert College has proven itself to be a place where students make our own experience,” Jaeke adds. “We are able to embrace the progress the college has made while acknowledging necessary growth and advocating for needed change. Students are truly the focus of St. Norbert College, and it shows.”
The accolade is just one of those given to St. Norbert in recent months. College Gazette also ranked SNC No. 9 on its 10 Incredible Liberal Arts Colleges on the Rise list; and the college earned a No. 9 spot on Niche’s Best College Food in America ranking, beating out more than 1,300 other institutions.
