Convocation Welcomes the Newest Green Knights

Convocation speaks to the importance of a grand entrance: Students were invited to make their presence known on campus and ring the college’s 100-plus-year-old bell.The ceremony was the formal launch of their lives as forever Green Knights. Later that weekend, they attended Mass of the Holy Spirit, enjoyed games and a full picnic spread, and stayed for a concert and fireworks show before classes kicked off the next day.

Week of Welcome

Faculty and staff, led by President Laurie Joyner, rolled out the red carpet for new and returning students before kicking off a new academic year. Old St. Joe‘s held its annual Mass of the Holy Spirit, students browsed the stalls of Black-owned businesses at The Market, a stunning fireworks show lit up the Campus Center docks and, of course, there was plenty of food on hand for students, faculty and staff to enjoy.
