De Pere, Wis. - As the NFL Draft approaches in Green Bay, St. Norbert College is stepping into the spotlight with a unique blend of history, education and hands-on experience.
This semester, 10 SNC students are participating in a one-of-a-kind internship that explores the college’s deep-rooted connection to the Green Bay Packers - from Vince
Lombardi’s friendship with Father Dennis Burke to the team staying in dorms on campus during training camp. During Draft Week, these students will lead exclusive tours,
sharing their research findings with the public.

Adding to the excitement, from April 23 through May 9, the Bush Art Center on campus will feature a special exhibition of photographs from Super Bowl I (Packers vs. Chiefs).
The images were captured by Vernon Biever, the legendary Packers team photographer and St. Norbert College alum, renowned for his ability to capture the essence of Packers
history through his lens.
The exhibit, located in the Permanent Collection Gallery, also includes a short documentary about alum and former St. Norbert art professor John Gordon ('64) - the designer of
the original Green Bay Packers logo. This exhibition, coinciding with the NFL Draft, celebrates the lasting contributions of Biever, Gordon and SNC to the legacy of one of the NFL’s
most storied franchises.
