Since 1121, members of the religious order founded by Norbert of Xanten have embraced a tradition of radical hospitality. Today, 900 years later at St. Norbert College, that same tradition lives on and is enthusiastically extended to you.
SNC is rooted in our Norbertine values and the college promotes “a collaborative way of life, grounded in the value of communio and expressed in teaching and learning, in study and research, and in the generous sharing of our resources.”
At SNC, everyone is welcome.

Located in a thriving, diverse economic region on the picturesque Fox River, we are just a few miles upstream from Green Bay and Lake Michigan in Northeast Wisconsin. While you’re here, take a tour of the Green Bay Packers’ historic Lambeau Field or make the short drive north to Wisconsin’s scenic Door County peninsula.
Much has changed since 1898 when the college was founded to train young men for the priesthood, yet the deep sense of community you will find here and at our parish remains strongly rooted in the Norbertine order. As our mission states, we are dedicated to providing an education that fosters intellectual, spiritual and personal development.
Forward thinking but committed to the time-honored wisdom found in the Norbertine, Catholic and liberal arts traditions, our leadership has set a course for St. Norbert College to cement its place among the nation’s great liberal arts colleges.
Our college campus is always bustling with activity. Catch an upcoming performance at the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts, support local and internationally renowned artists at the Bush Art Center, attend mass at the St. Norbert College Parish or participate in open and authentic dialogue with programs hosted by the Cassandra Voss Center.
In addition to eight academic centers with their own unique programs, the Mulva Library, office of student inclusion and belonging and student organizations also host events throughout the year. Check out our comprehensive events calendar to see what’s going on around campus. And if you haven’t visited our campus, we invite you to experience SNC for yourself — whether in person or virtually.
